The guest of honor of the event
Dr. Jane is more than a researcher. Jane Goodall was one of the first to observe chimpanzees in the wild. Thanks to her, we found out that we have much more in common than we ever thought.
After several decades of work as a chimpanzee researcher, she noticed the seriousness of the environmental problems surrounding us, and since then she travels 300 days a year in order to draw the attention of as many people as possible to the fact that we must change our environmentally damaging habits together.
She pays particular attention to the environmental education of young people, since they are the future. During her travels, she always takes the time to meet enthusiastic young people. She has already managed to inspire many young people, who became members of the project-based Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots program, which is also popular in Hungary. Dr. Goodall is a legendary scientist, environmentalist, and humanitarian who gives us hope every day and inspires us to turn hope into action and make a difference for animals, people, and our environment.
