Countdown to the Networking Day
University of Pannonia
The mission of the University of Pannonia is to be an active participant in shaping a sustainable future through its internationally renowned, multi-disciplinary, sustainability-related education and research and development activities.
We are committed to translating our knowledge, scientific competence and contacts into products and services that improve intellectual development, quality of life and social well-being. For two years now, our event series has sought to reflect on the various challenges of sustainability, bringing together internationally and nationally recognised experts. Our aim is to address all target groups with the right message, offering programmes that are not only thought-provoking but also encourage action

HOPE Conference
The first HOPE Conference was held in 2023.
Last year, Dr. Jane Goodall, world-renowned primatologist and UN Ambassador-at-Large, and one of the best-known researchers on chimpanzee life, visited Hungary. The University of Pannonia was particularly honoured to be one of the stops on Goodall's trip. And as part of the HOPE programme, preparations were made to honour the activist's visit.
HOPE 2 Sustainability Challenges
Networking Day - 18. 07. 2024
This year's HOPE 2 conference aims to make our sustainability efforts visible to decision-makers, professional partners and the wider public. In doing so, we will foster dialogue and collaboration for a green transition and promote the achievement of sustainability both domestically and internationally. In doing so, we contribute to a more liveable and sustainable future.
The University of Pannonia aims to become a leading institution that plays a prominent role in promoting sustainability dialogue and action. We strive to be an inspiring example of sustainability to our strategic partners and to decision-makers in the European Union. As an active member of the Hungarian Universities Sustainability Platform, our aim is to promote collaboration and the green transition, contributing to the achievement of the global sustainability goals.
